Join magick maker Roxie Zwicker for a celebration of the Autumn Equinox, sometimes referred to as Mabon or the second harvest.
On the autumn equinox, day and night are of equal length. This signals the need to balance light and darkness within us. Far too often, we fear the dark and adore only the light. At the autumnal equinox we reflect on those ways our soul can grow. We welcome in the light to our lives but we also understand how to befriend our shadow side to see the wholeness that we truly possess.
We may feel sad that the playfulness and freedom of summer are disappearing as we fall back into our fall routines and structures but we also have more focus and direction. The expansive, active part of the year is over and it is time to turn inwards. The sun’s power is waning, but deprived of the external light, we encounter inner illumination.
This is a good time to begin new projects to carry you through the cold months ahead. This circle is intended to help guests focus their will, strengthen their intention and to nurture a seed which will blossom in the spring.
