Lammas Mid-Summer Celebration and Circle

Lammas (Mid-summer) is the time to appreciate the warm, sunny days while we still have them, knowing the wheel is turning towards darkness and chill. It's about appreciation for what we have and reverence for what will change.

Lammas (Mid-summer) is the time to appreciate the warm, sunny days while we still have them, knowing the wheel is turning towards darkness and chill. It’s about appreciation for what we have and reverence for what will change.

For this circle a few a few sentiments and workings will be brought into this ritual:

Clear the field of those things you meant to do this summer or this year that are not coming to fruition. What is passing from your life? What is over? Release what doesn’t serve you, and make room for a harvest that will sustain you as we move into the autumn time.

Honor the fruits that you have gathered this year and how you can hold onto their energy and blessings. Discover ways to keep them sweet in the store of your memory.

What have you harvested this year? What seeds have you planted that are sprouting? Honor the grain of the season and flow with abundance. We will take a fragrant herb garden walk – weather permitting.

We will feast on local breads, grains, fruits and preserves at the end of the ritual.  Guests will take some some mid-summer treasures to use in their spiritual practice.
