Virtual tours with Roxie from the comfort of your favorite easy chair. Explore cemeteries and historic locations throughout New England.
Every location has been well researched, documented and features video, photos and additional information from newspaper archives will be provided whenever possible. No need to worry about the weather, or sitting in traffic, touring couldn’t be easier!
Each virtual tour is presented through Zoom classroom for easy access. Tours are narrated live and sessions allow for questions and interaction. Many sessions offer handouts for further study and will be emailed after the virtual tour. Each tour runs an hour and a half to two hours long and is presented as if we are walking around each location.

The Spirited Victorian Parlor: Take a trip back in time to the days of the Victorian Parlor. Did you know the word parlor – meant to talk? The parlor was the focal point of many home and was often a gathering point for many curious happenings. In this presentation we will gather in a virtual parlor with Roxie Zwicker of New England Curiosities to explore some of the amazing stories from New England parlors. From evenings focused on spiritualism, seances and tea leaf readings to gatherings of both the somber and eccentric, what might you find when you walk inside these often richly decorated rooms? And we will explore where you might find some haunted Victorian parlors across New England. This presentation features original photos and ephemera from Roxie’s personal collection along with researched newspaper articles and local headlines from the 19th century.
