Step into the Witches Hollow. The mists swirl around your feet, as you lose yourself in this curious space. Step into twisted shadows of tree branches and tall grasses and discover the true, historic and sometimes grim – stories of Maine “witches”, haunted hollows, headless ghosts and ghastly history. With a twirl of a black cape, your mystery maven and storyteller, Roxie Zwicker brings these lesser known stories to life in time traveling vignettes with vintage props and some surprises. Colonial superstition and a curious past blend for an evening of stories that have been wandering the woods of northern New England.
Ominous music plays in the background as the lights go dim and lantern lights flicker around grinning pumpkins. Explore these mysterious, dark and suspenseful places – and are these locations still haunted today?
The atmosphere is moody in this historic building, that has served many curious guests over the past 90 years. The theater opened in 1923 and was an incredibly popular spot over the years, with films from Dante’s Inferno to Star Wars. Don’t miss this rare opportunity for an October evening you won’t soon forget.
